Tepnel is the first service provider in the UK to offer genetic analysis services on the new Illumina iScan genetic analysis system.  Supporting Genotyping, Epigenetics and Expression Analysis, Tepnel is also in the process of becoming an official service provider for the Illumina iScan platform for both genotyping and epigenetic applications.

Using the Infinium and GoldenGate products we offer genetic analysis services for both the human and non-human sectors of healthcare, population studies and pharmaceutical development.  The Infinium BeadChips provide the most complete genomic coverage and support integrated SNP genotyping and CNV detection.  BeadChips come in multiple sample formats covering a wide range of human and non-human applications.

Tepnel provides a complete range of services from DNA extraction through to Bio-informatics, which includes consultancy and proof of concept investigations, experimental planning and laboratory work, to data analysis and report writing.

Using sample volumes from as low as 400ng of DNA per sample, we have the ability to process sample numbers from as little as one through to large scale phase III clinical trials or population studies.

Our UK laboratory facilities in Livingston and Manchester are designed to facilitate maximum efficiency from sample receipt through to report delivery and incorporate a LabWare LIMS system for automated sample processing and data acquisition reporting.  We recognise that the quality of work is of paramount importance to our clients and we are committed to achieving high standards of reliability and quality as embodied in our GxP compliant quality management system.  The Quality System has been developed to unify the tightest requirements from both GLP and cGMP regulations and has withstood regulatory inspection from both the MHRA and the FDA.  As such, Tepnel is able to carry out work in compliance with GCP and cGMP requirements and as we are also a member of the UK GLP compliance program, we can claim compliance to GLP when required.
