Tepnel Pharmaceutical Services operates a Duncan DT108 thermal cycler for the generation of amplification products from DNA extracts. This platform allows for the simultaneous amplification of up to 41,000 samples per 3 hour run and has a ‘rampless’ temperature control system providing uniform and consistent amplification products. In addition this platform is supported by a full suite of robotics allowing quality controlled sample tracking and chemistry miniaturization. This platform offers a cost effective alternative to amplification projects using standard PCR platforms and large numbers of samples.

 

We offer this platform either as part of our DNA extraction and genotyping service, or as a standalone tool for amplification projects such as offsite DNA sequencing and genotyping projects.
