Tepnel distributes the following SDI range of lateral flows and ELISA in the UK:


Trait Check lateral flow strip tests allows rapid testing of grains at elevators and terminals. SDI tests give visual results in 3 to 5 minutes, expediting grain processing. SDI has the largest offering of lateral flow strip tests available, including tests for Round-up Ready® crops, HERCULEX™ corn varieties, LibertyLink® crops, YieldGard® corn varieties, StarLink® corn and corn rootworm varieties. Other applications are available for alfalfa, canola, sugarbeet and cotton. SDI offers a common extraction method that allows users to run six or more different GMO corn tests in a single corn sample extract. This includes SDI novel TraitP Triple Trait Corn test strip which will detect three transgenic proteins in one strip - Cry1Ab, Cry3Bb and CP4 EPSPS making testing easy and more cost- effective.


Seed Check lateral flow strip tests and ELISA plates are used to rapidly test seed lots for quality control requirements and leaf tissue in the field. SDI lateral flow tests give visual results in 3 to 5 minutes. SDI has the largest offering of lateral flow strip tests available including tests for Roundup Ready, HERCULEX, LibertyLink, YieldGard and BollGard® varieties in corn, soybean, cotton, canola, alfalfa, rice, and sugarbeet.


GMO Check - Genetically Modified Ingredients ELISA microwell plate tests determine GMO content in processed food fractions such as corn flour and soybean meal in order to comply with regulations governing the labeling of foodstuffs containing GMO ingredients. The tests are cost effective, sensitive, quantitative, offer high throughput of up to 43 samples at one time. GMO Check is ideal for laboratory based QC testing applications. GMO Check tests have been validated for ground soybeans, ground corn, ground canola, corn flour, grits, soya flour and toasted soya meal.
